Your safety is our priority. By purchasing and using Nicolette & Co. candles, you agree to follow the guidelines below and accept our limitation of liability.
Safe Candle Use (Always)

Trim the wick to ~1/4" (6–7 mm) before each burn.

Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, vents, and sunlight.

First burn: allow a full melt pool (usually 2–4 hours); do not exceed 4 hours per burn thereafter.

Keep wax pool free of matches, wick trimmings, and debris.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets.

Stop use when ~1/2" (12 mm) of wax remains to prevent overheating the vessel.

Do not move a burning candle; allow the vessel to cool before handling.

Do not burn near flammable items or on delicate/porous surfaces without protection.
Vessels & Handmade Materials

Our vessels (including stone/jesmonite/hydrostone options) are sealed for typical candle use but may be naturally variegated. Minor color/pattern variation, micro-bubbles, or faint texture are normal and not defects.

Do not submerge vessels in water or put them in a dishwasher/microwave. Spot-clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth only.
Allergens & Sensitivities

Our fragrances may include natural and synthetic aromatic compounds. If you have asthma, fragrance sensitivities, or allergies, test briefly in a well-ventilated space and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nicolette & Co. (including owners, employees, and contractors) is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from misuse, failure to follow safety instructions, unattended burning, or use contrary to common candle-burning practices.

Our aggregate liability is limited to the purchase price of the product(s) giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations; your rights may vary.

Payment Methods
